Oswego East is coming off a 7-4 season in which the Wolves made the playoffs for the first time in school history. Now they want to make it a regular occurrence.
Arguably Matt Rahn’s top football memory came in street clothes. Sidelined all of the 2013 season with a torn ACL, the Aurora Central quarterback watched with glee last October as his teammates beat Marmion in the rivals’ final Suburban Christian Conference meeting.

The Sun-Times has obtained the Illinois High School Association's tentative sectional and regional hosts for Class 4A and 3A boys basketball for the next three years.
Waubonsie Valley’s Tyler Caldwell, who joined the Warriors last fall after transferring from Yorkville, is now the leader of their young offensive line.
Joe Currie, a 1982 graduate of the school who has been coaching there since 1994 in both the football and basketball programs, will direct the program.
Noah Frazier need only notice the signs around the Batavia community to remind him what his team accomplished last fall, and of the huge fan support the final day in DeKalb.
